clamping system mechanical/mechanical for vices RKK
mechanical drive with handcrank and mechanic power
intensification by means of knee lever
advantages:
high and secure clamping force with little human effort only about 1½ crank rotations at max. clamping force constant clamping force for every clamping operation, thus high repetition accuracy no overloading of the vice at max. clamping force presetting of clamping force with locking device self-locking power transmission
clamping with power intensification
By turning the spindle with the handcrank the movable jaw is brought into contact
with the workpiece. At this point resistance is felt on the handcrank.
On turning this further in clockwise direction as far as it will go it disengages
automatically and the system switches over to hydraulic clamping.
presetting different clamping forces:
Withdraw the adjusting sleeve and turn the desired clamping force to the marking.
Number x 1000 = clamping force in daN, "0" is locked position.
Clamping force is set correctly when the sleeve hooks on automatically.
Locked position:
Only mechanical clamping without power intensification for low clamping forces
or for preclamping of workpiece stacks.
clamping system mechanical/hydraulic for vices RNC,RSC,RA,RB,RBG
mechanical drive with handcrank and hydraulic power
intensification by means of hydraulic unit
advantages:
high and secure clamping force with little human effort no overloading of the vice at max. clamping force constant clamping force for every clamping operation, thus high repetition accuracy presetting of clamping force with locking device self-locking

presetting different clamping forces:
Pressing the handcrank into the drive shaft the adjusting sleeve will be dislocked and
can be moved on the marking ring to the desired clamping force.
Marking "block": only mechanical clamping without hydraulic power intensification for
low clamping forces or preclamping of workpiece stacks.
hydraulic clamping system
power generation:
- hydraulically through HP set for double-acting cylinders for vices RKH
- hydraulically through HA set for single-acting cylinders for vices FSH,RNH,RSH,RH
- pneumatically through pressure converter PHD for single- acting cylinders.
advantages:
rational clamping of series parts in minimum time external power generation through hydraulic set HA/HP or pneumatic/hydraulic pressure converter PHD jaw travel approx. 7.5 mm infinitely variable and accurate clamping force presetting constant clamping force for each clamping operation, thus high repetition accuracy clamping force is maintained if pressure drops off can be used for automatic work cycle particularly suitable for reciprocal milling using the hydraulic set HA type 707-81 resp. HP 707-91
clamping:
The movable jaw is moved only once by the handcrank up to about 3-4 mm away from the
workpiece. By operating the pushbutton on the hydraulic set or by operating an air pilot
valve on the pressure converter, the clamping operation is initiated. The movable jaw then
travels up to the workpiece and clamps it. When releasing, the movable jaw again returns
to its initial position.
Setting different clamping forces:
The desired clamping force is set steplessly by means of pressure regulation on the
hydraulic set or pressure converter.
