The mechanical deburring tool for cross bores with a diameter ratio of 1:1 COFA-X is the first and only tooling system that consistently and reliably removes burrs from interior uneven bore edges in applications with large intersections. COFA-X possesses a pre-loaded blade and the tip of the tool body shows a recess. This recess is necessary in order to enter the bore with an offset so that the blade does not suffer. Each COFA-X tool is designed for the individual application. It is a solution for deburring the edges created by intersecting bores (crossbores) having a main bore to cross bore ratio of 1:1. It can also be used for intersecting bores with offset axes. |
| For extreme uneven surfaces. Eliminates manual deburring. Different size bores on center axis. Solutions starting from bore diameter of 5.0 mm. Completely chamfered edge – the edge is burr-free. Undercut body allows offset entry to bore so as not to damage the cutting blade. Separate tool bodies available for front cutting only and back cutting only. Customized to each application. Can be used reliably for CNC operation. |

| Intersecting bores up to a main bore - cross bore ratio of 1:1. Crossing bores with center axis offset. Bores with interfering edges that shield the surface (bore edge) to be deburred indirectly. |
