Forwards and backwards chamfering in one single pass The SNAP tool is an efficient front and back chamfering and deburring tool that is easy to use and which allows quick blade changes, making it a convenient solution for any manufacturing environment. Without any need to turn the workpiece or to stop the spindle, the tool removes the burrs and chamfers the edges. The SNAP tool has been designed for automatic operation involving large production lots. The tool is characterised by its most simple blade change that is carried out manually and without any specific aids. |
| No need to rotate the workpiece or stop the spindle. Carbide blade that can be changed by hand in the machine. Particularly suitable for CNC operations with large batch sizes. Standard range from bore diameter 2.0 mm. Cassette solutions from bore diameter 12.6 mm to any size. The chamfer size and angle are geometrically defined on the SNAP blade and can only be changed by using a blade with a different geometry. The specially ground blades of the SNAP chamfering tool are available as a forward and backward cutting variant or backward cutting only. |
